Arthur (Ed)'s Story
After graduating from NOVI I enlisted in the U.S.Navy and married the LOVE OF MY LIFE. Eight and one-half years later I left the Navy and graduated from R.C.C. with an AAS in Administration of Justice. I worked as a Riverside County Sheriff's Deputy for several years.
My wife and I have been married going on 42 years, we have two grown married children and four wonderful grandchildren. Most recently we have pastored a church and I drove a dump truck to keep us alive. I have been unemployed for over a year now (...Expand for more
4-09 to 5-10) because of the poor economy.
We have recently moved to NW Arkansas to be close to what is left of my family.
Over the years one recurring lesson has been made very clear to me. In the good times and in the tough times God is good, all the time.
Update: On October 5, 2010 I was diagnosed with Ischemic Heart Disease and underwent a Quadruple Bypass thanks to exposure to agent orange during my first deployment to Viet Nam. As of July 21, 2011 I am unable to work and I'm trying to get VA disability.
